What you're missing is where to enable IP.  DO it on the clients.  Novell 
released a free TCPIP stack (no applications) for their DOS clients.  Loading 
and configuring it on each client will allow you to connect to the Linux 
machine.
If you want to server to act as an agent, allowing the clients to pass IPX to 
the server and the server passes IP, I believe you'll have to go to 
Internetware 4.11.  This function is included in 4.11.
