Mis-sreads (at least some) macro language - could be related to reported
keyboard oddities. Example: Where ^m in a function key macro would be
seen as a , it's seen now as a dash character.

Ctrl-s (or \0x1f in macro) will still save a message in Win32 ver (and,
sometimes in 32-bit ver running in DOS box) but will also close entire
application and locks up some machines.
