the visible presentation of the quoted para. Hopeless IMO.

Yes, but if thats really a concern it makes
a lot more sense to run a compressed mail base.

Thats distinctly arguable with compressed mail bundles. It may actually
have bugger all effect. Mangle the readability severely for no real benefit.
