I checked out the docs in the fix Sean mentioned and not extremely specific
in describing the problem, but it seems to be aimed at Win32 Mtelnet
uploading to OS/2 Maximus (version unspecified) (apparently) through the
internal QWK functionality.

You are hitting DOS Maximus 2.x (running under OS/2) and are uploading to
an external door here...so we're not seeing that issue.  If we were, your
conversation with Sean would be much shorter.
