    External SupraFAXModems have 4 lights (RD/SD/OH/TR) and our unique
    alpha-numeric green LED display.  The cycling display indicates the
    current carrier rate (also type of carrier on 288 models), compression
    mode, error correction mode, and more to keep you informed of the
    current operating state and changing conditions.  All this is packed
    into the famous small case (1" high by 4.5" wide by 6.5" long).
    Internal modems are 8-bit, half cards which may be configured to any
    combination of communication ports 1 to 4 and interrupt request (IRQ)
    lines 2 to 5.
