Hmm.. you can ask the sysop where you're posting this from to pick it up
for you - or have him contact me and I'm sure I can get it to him easily
enough. He may have the file on his system already if he's getting the
fidonet LNX-USER file echo.

Normally file requests are done nodelisted fidonet system -> nodelisted
fidonet system through the internet, or by Modems, but there are a lot of
fidonet systems like mine that allow non-listed systems to file request
files :)

To do that, you'd have to find software that will let you dial up a bbs,
but not as a user.. but as a mailer. The DOS program, Terminate will let
you connect to a fidonet mailer to request a file, which is what you want
to do. It's pretty fast.. your mailer tells mine what it wants, and my
mailer starts the transfer..

I think that ifcico under linux would let you do the same; One sysop
connects to my system everyday to pick up his traffic via modem using that
:)

If the file were smaller, I'd post it here in the echo, but it's pretty big
extracted, somewhere around 1.7 Meg I think.

Take care,
Janis
