subject: Juno directories

I backed up all my Juno ADS files.
Then I deleted them one at a time, and restarted Juno. It might have
been a bit faster starting.
So I deleted all the ADS files, and the ADS directory. I then recreated
the ADS directory, and restarted Juno.
It was a little bit faster. I can tell the difference now.
Defragging does help. If I defrag the drive, Juno will process the second
downloaded packet much more quickly. Failing to defrag will result in
taking four or five times as long to process the incoming mail. I found
this before I zapped the ADS directory, and after zapping ADS nothing
changed: it still worked slowly without defragging.
Or do I have something set up wrong? Perhaps I need to remove the entire
Juno setup and reload it so that it will sit in a lower address -- there
is a lot of unused disk space between my OS and WP programs and Juno.
