Subject: Re: [drakelist] FS-4
your=20
problem. Disassembling the FS-4 is rather easy and all of the =
components=20
are readily accessible. Be sure to remove the top inner shield to =
gain=20
access to the wafer switches under the shield. I use DeXoit D-100 in =
the=20
small dispenser bottle rather than the spray can, so that I can=20
concentrate the cleaner on the switch contacts rather than spray =
down=20
the whole assembly.=20
If this does not solve your problem, I personally would =
appreciate you=20
and Herbert posting your discovery and repair techniques to the=20
reflector rather than go private. We can all benefit from =
Herbert's=20
considerable expertise in this matter.=20

-----Original Message----- Does anyone have any =
experience with=20
fixing a FS-4? I have one that puts out erratic freq.'s and the =
0-5 does=20
not change anything. Any ideas? Dan=20
