  First you must apply all patches as Novell suggest. With CDUP4 NetWare from 
3.11 to 4.1 can mount IDE CD-ROM drives as volumes.

  What is the source of this information ? I`m running NetWare 3.12 with two 
IDE HDDs on the same cable. When I load MONITOR I can see it both active.
