While I do miss the plethora of local bbs's I used to be able to dialup
to, telnet has, to some extent, merely broadened the neighborhood. 
Bluewave works just like it always did, to facilitate messaging
offline... :)  The bbs I'm answering from right now is actually local to
me, and was one of my original dial-up homes years ago... :)

Internet webside bbs'ing, though, I've not gotten into... or much
internet stuff at all...
