Jeeze, when you go into a English Pub, although in New York, you don't cook Fish and Chips with Mexican chilies as part of the crust. :) You got a clue when the first judge said "Takes me back to my days in England," as he was tasting the experts stuff. > Mussels and Fries > * Sunday, 11pm/10c Lost again, and for the same reason - too much spice in the sauces. Bobby is known for his Tex-Mex flavorings, but in some cases he should give up on them. These two are good examples. While they liked the difference in taste, the judges tended to compare the 'traditional' prep rather than some new flavored thing. Another thing I note is anytime he is cooking where you use a crust, he tends to use white flour and rice flour as a mix? Then he often tosses in something to give it a kick, chili powder or whatever. What is a "Iron Chef." Is it a title, a award like a black belt in Judo, just what? I note that program follows the throw downs and Bobby is "Iron Chef," and seems to be another challenge type thing. --- MultiMail/Win32 v0.46* Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/250 18/200 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 138/666 140/1 222/2 SEEN-BY: 226/0 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 320/119 396/45 633/260 267 285 712/848 801/161 189 2222/700 SEEN-BY: 2320/100 105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
