Hey Alan!

 AI> How this?

--------------- vim commandline magic starts
:read ! echo -n "That didn't seem to work at all, so I will try again and
see what I ge" | wc --bytes
70
--------------- vim commandline ends

From this perspective it appears that Mystic has an upper limit of 70 bytes.
Care to test if it is actually bytes and not characters? I have the upper and
lower case Russian alphabet with no spaces between characters that shows as 66
characters and 132 bytes in length. As a subject it could prove to be a good
test of utf-8 capable fidonet messages ... if such a thing ever exists ... not
counting me of course since it definetly works here on 1:153/7001.0 which is a
fine and upstanding Fidonet node as everyone that matters knows to be 100%
accurate.

Life is good,
Maurice

... Don't cry for me I have vi.
