Hello Dan., -=> Quoting Dan Ceppa to Peter Coggon <=- DC> I thought that the regular ginger ale was in green bottles as well. Ginger Ale as far as I can recall ....well CANADA DRY was always in the green bottles, but now plastic. AAAH Bummer there goes getting a few pennies for returning the bottles. OH... yeah....to go on ... the Ginger Beer, came in a brown bottle, only I can not remember if they sold it in the large bottles. Used to get 6 pack...all brown bottles...and really good GINGER BEER. Lately at the stores I have been getting some big plastic Ginger Beer containers, and it seems to be the old formula under a different manufacturer. DC> Well, they do have rules for their fights. Actually Dan , there is a code of honour at the bottom of these fights, and it is the team, and the protection of key star players, and of course every team has an enforcer to carry out his duties. Used to be pretty bad, but nowadays they are trying to cut out this part of the game, that they let happen. I think all this started with the first games of something that resembled hockey on skates as it is today ... Military units in Canada played it and other units, and well things got carried away and they figured they'd practice fighting hand to hand...only on the other unit. The citizens , seeing this and the game, only took it as being a part. Maybe ....??? Not sure, but Kingston Ontario was a big hot spot for this game. Also Big Pond Nova SCotia that claims to be the place of the start of it all.... When I think of fights, I always think of the Cleghorn brothers in the early 20th century and the reputation for bawling on ice they left behind as an example .... I think we have come a long way since then... ttfn Pete DC> ... Canada: the state so clever, it doesn't pay taxes to Washington! DC> -!- OMX/Blue Wave/DOS v2.30 DC> !
