Hello mark,

AI>> I suppose if it has gone unnoticed that long folks must have moved on

ml> what are you trying to do? the function may be handled by another tool
 ml> already...

poll is one of the tools I have used, it simply creates a *.?lo for that
node in the outbound. For my regular polls I just touch that file, but if I
don't know the filename to touch I'm a little lost.

send and request are much the same but send sends a file and request
requests a file. The last two can be done easily enough with golded, msged
or similar. There are other ways to do all that too, I am just accustomed
to the command line tools.

I was looking at the perl files in the hpt directory and wondering if that
might be a good approach, or some bash magic. I don't have that much bash
magic though.. ;)

 Ttyl :-),
         Al

... I'm as confused as a baby in a topless bar.
