| subject: | Unpacking insecure arcmail |
Hey Tommi! KR>> My first idea is to get rid off the unsecure inbound by telling KR>> your mailer to save all unprotected-inbound to the protected KR>> inbound path. TK> No, if I save mail from unknown sources to secure directory, all mail TK> is treated as secure. That is not wanted. You told us you want? TK> But anyway I want to process all mail, not only unarchived mail. Maybe i misunderstood you 'cause i'm not that deep in the hpt tossing features. If you accept unsecure echomail as secure it would be tossed to badmail because the echo is not linked to an unknown node. If you need that feature (toss unsec packed NM) only for that node you could achive that by using a hotfix dirty hack and setup passwords for that node for both mailer connect and packet password. The password system was designed to seperate between unsecure and secure but you can misuse it to accept unsecured NM from one special node.
