Sadly, in the few months that I've been back in FidoNet, I have quickly
discovered that things haven't really changed, and that some echoes are indeed
populated by some very foul-mouthed people, and a mere mention of my Christian
faith has stirred up a number of people against me.

I never respond to such abusive posts, as it will just feed those people's
egos, and motivate them to keep posting more obnoxious messages which I have
no interest in reading.

While it is probably not your thing, I am now the sole moderator of the
EDGE_ONLINE echo, if you have an interest in stopping by. It is not a
religious debate echo like HOLYSMOKE, but rather a serious echo dedicated to
Christian Bible study, including eschatology, and other issues which are
important to, or which affect, our Christian faith.
