My guess is that by October 2000 both the Dow Jones Industrials will drop
into the 7,000 range, and the NASDAQ will drop into the 2,400 range. But it
will recover all its losses within 18 months. But if the recession hits
hard, by October 2000 the Dow Jones could drop as low as 5,000 and NASDAQ
as low as 1,750, and the losses won't be recovered for 24 months.
