I do not use the windows version of Maximus.  I currently use the OS/2
(last release) and Linux (alpha version) of Maximus and have used the old
DOS version.  So, the following comments may or may not apply.  If max can
see the telnet ports as standard COM ports on the local machine, with
normall modem controls immplemented (H/W and possibly simulated modem),
then you should be ok.  This is how Max runs telnet ports under OS/2 using
SIO's VMODEM defice driver.  If you don't have something similar, or a
FOSSIL driver that supports telnet under Win32, then I would not expect it
to work.
