Tried it.. still sucks.  Maybe I'm doing something wrong.. is there any way
to get VNC to perform decently?  The default install is so dog slow it's
only useful in extreme emergencies, not day to day remote administration. 
Changing compression algorithms either doesn't make a difference, or makes
it worse.  For most purposes we (the company I work for) use Funk
Software's "Proxy" which blows the shit out of VNC.  It is,
however, not free and Win/DOS/Netware only which is a PITA on multiple
levels.
