Hello again Carol. Thanks for the history lesson. I honestly can't remember
what zone the BBS was listed under back during the 90's, but I imagine that it
was Zone 6 with Todd Cochrane. Of course, as I said, back then, we did in fact
have quite a few BBSes on Guam, both civilian and military-based ones.

This time around, I contacted Janis Kracht directly, who redirected me to
Michael Alyn Miller, the R10C. As it turns out, Michael is also the developer
of the BBS software that I use. Anyway, this past March, Michael informed me
that I was in Region 10, and that I would be getting mail from his server at
1:10/1 through some special software that he has written specifically for the
Hermes BBS. He also told me to pick a node number in the 1:345/3xxx space,
which I did.

Michael then told me that I should send my Areafix requests to 345/0, instead
of to 10/0, and that I am apparently the only node in the Pacific Region Fido
Net, and that he had become the default Network Coordinator for Net345.

So, that is how things basically developed, and why I am a part of Zone 1,
instead of Zone 3 or Zone 6.

Me, Z6C? And my jurisdiction would be what? The fishies in the deep blue sea?
:)

If there are any other BBSes left on Guam, I am totally unaware of them.
