subject: netware 802.2 vs 802.

-> I believe I need to clear up a few things. 802.2 is the industry
-> standard. 802.3 is Novell's.
Well, actually, to be technical about it, 802.3 is also an IEEE standard, but
it refers to communication at the DataLink layer, where 802.2 refers to the
Physical and DataLink layers. 802.3 can't be implemented by itself; it needs
a Physical layer protocol (such as 802.2 or 802.5) to work with it.
None of this is to be confused with Novell's ETHERNET_802.2 or ETHERNET_802.3
protocol types...

I'm only running 3.12 (25 user version) but with MultiProtocol Router (MPR)
3.0 and an Eicon Packetblaster high speed serial card for our internet link,
but have been reading up on IntraNetWare... it does bundle MPR 3.1 and a web
server, as well as the NDS stuff.
