| subject: | The 2005 Home Office rape propaganda. |
The Times, and many other newspapers are widely reporting the rape report from the Home Office, so I thought I'd just read it, to see if they were exaggerating at all. http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/rds/pdfs05/hors293.pdf ---------------------------------------------------------------- I've also put the Time's report on it, below so you can all read both, and see what a ridiculous bunch of wankers "journalists" are. Unlike Richard Ford appears to, I've actually read the report, he completely fails to point out that this report now includes rapes which weren't previously included. This broadly fits into two categories.... Get this, the first category is... Page 46. Where there's no evidence of rape, and the "victim" didn't file a complaint. They broadly fit the group where rape was suspected, such as torn clothing, but when the victim was contacted, and able to explain the circumstances it was clear she'd just fallen over and there was no rape. This doesn't stop it getting included in the report though. Another group consists of where someone else (other than the "victim" reported that a rape had occurred,) and when the police spoke to her/him it was clear there hadn't been one. Finally, it also includes 28 people who went to the police, because they got blitzed, and woke up remembering nothing. After being examined at great expense, it was concluded that not only had they not been raped, they hadn't even had sex. The report claims that in these three types of incidents, it's unsure whether the victim would fit into a false allegation category, because (despite not actually having been raped (and knowing they weren't) remember) they might be worried that if they did say they were raped (even though both the police AND them knew for certain they weren't,) then if they truly were raped at a later date, the courts might think they were a nutter. Despite 75% of women openly admitting they committed life changing lies everyday, only 216 of 2643 cases were considered to be false allegations. Only two women out of 216 were charged. (1%) (That's the lunatic who openly took on the Hamiltons, and presumably someone who falsely accused a judge, MP or policeman. In short, the ordinary man in the street has NO CHANCE AT ALL of justice from a false allegation.) In 21% of the cases, the woman was so blitzed she claimed rape when the man said she consented, or she couldn't even remember who the man was she'd fallen on her back for, in short, she was pissed and either (horny or having fertility troubles with her husband,) and in 2% of cases there was no realistic chance of prosecution, or put another way, she was known to be a liar. Or she just was lying and realised it was wrong to hide her shame from her husband, and dropped the charges. (In these cases the woman was never prosecuted.) And a load of cases where the woman bottled when faced with actually having to tell her case to someone who wasn't going to accept her word as gospel. There were also a load of cases where women accused the man they were already sleeping with of raping them. How is that possible? As for Richard Ford's comments about men trawling bars for women with rohypnol in their pocket, Search PDF reveals that rohypnol, bar, trawl, and a whole load of other related comments weren't even in the report. Further, where drug induced rape was suspected when the woman was asleep, and the man denied it, forensic evidence proved no sex had taken place. Furthermore, several women who reported drug rape, had been found to be lying about their own alcohol intake, not only that but one had also lied about drugs too, she'd been high on cannabis. Richard Ford, the men's movement are nowing checking your ridiculous unsubstantiated facts, we've had too many lies from feminism. Please try harder. Oh! Sex after a meal isn't rape, either, no matter what Harriet Harmanhater thinks. Also it says this... "The BCS confirms that women are most likely to be raped by men they know, and that a considerable proportion had experienced repeat incidents by the same perpetrator" I see, so they just keep on getting raped, and don't do anything about it. As for "considerable". What kind of fucking crap is that. If I wrote a report with any of the words, "considerable", "some", "a lot", "many", "not far", "soon" etc. I'd expect to be laughed out of the building. This has actually made it to press publication. So. Bearing in mind at least 216 women were considered to have filed a false report, 214 of them walked away completely scott free, even though they were trying to get a man jailed for ten years. I'm afraid Harriet, there's several things you need to do babe if you want to change the situation. 1. Firstly, give innocent men justice. Until you do this, I'm going to find any man accused of rape, innocent on general principle, unless it's a child; because I simply don't like what society does to men. If a woman falsely accuses a man of a crime that would give him ten years, then she should get ten years. Until you do this, men will simply be less and less enfranchised with the system, and Harriet, men are the system, women just live off it. 2. Secondly, quote facts not hysteria. This report is exaggerated lies. It says there's 47000 rapes, yet can only provide evidence for 600 odd. How does it know this? 3. Acknowledge that men need sex. Define all laws with this pre-requisite built in. You've no problem at all, acknowledging and solving at men's expense, single mother's need for money being the leeches on society they are. How about making them have protected sex with single men, in return for their benefits? This way, men will get release, and men won't be needing to jump women. We are not inanimate objects, even though you like to treat us like a leather money holder. By giving women rights over men when men have no rights at all, you're simply asking to get raped. Why do you think men buy drinks for women? Why do they buy houses for women, it's because they want a shag. Take away the return, and you create a bloody awful mess. Feminism has created a bloody awful mess. ----------------------------------------------------------- http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2-1499525,00.html Rapes soar as convictions plummet to a record low By Richard Ford, Home Correspodent RAPE attacks are increasing rapidly in England and Wales, but the number of cases that end in a successful prosecution has fallen to a record low. According to government figures published yesterday, only one in eighteen rapes reported to police ends with the suspect being punished, although government ministers have pledged to increase the number of convictions. At the same time an alarming new rape trend is emerging, linked to the night-time binge-drinking culture in towns and cities across England and Wales. According to a study by the Home Office, groups of predatory men are now targeting drunken women to rape and sexually assault. Jo Lovett, one of the authors, said: "There are people who are undoubtedly targeting women who are drunk." The link between excessive and heavy drinking and rape is now considered to be much more important and common than sexual attacks involving the drug Rohypnol. The rise in sex crime and the link with heavy drinking comes as the Government faces a general election where it is on the defensive over the increase in violent crime and drunken behaviour on the streets. The report, published by the Home Office yesterday, disclosed the latest rape figures and that some men are now trawling bars looking for drunk women to rape. It also estimated that the actual number of rapes in England and Wales is more than four times higher than the 11,700 reported to the police in 2002. It is the fall in the conviction rate to 5.6 per cent which will cause most disappointment to the Government, Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and police. They have succeeded in encouraging more and more women to come forward to report rape but still too many cases never get into court. With ministers already anxious over the likely consequences of relaxing the licensing laws to allow round-the-clock drinking, the Government will be concerned that alchohol is three times more associated with rape than drugs. The Home Office report said that it had found "a group of predatory men who target women when they are drunk, so drunk in a number of cases that their capacity to consent had to be impaired". Ms Lovett, a researcher at the London Metropolitan University, said: "I think it is a pattern of drinking behaviour where a group go to a bar and offer to buy drinks or get chatting with girls or women and assume that some kind of sexual activity can be taken for granted. Alcohol is the lubricant in the process." The Government has overhauled the sex laws and changed the definition of consent in rapes cases in the hope that it will increased the conviction rate. But the law only came into effect last May and there are no figures available to see if the downward trend is being reversed. The report also suggests that many women find it difficult to persuade police to take their complaint seriously and that others remain concerned at going into court where they may have to face the alleged rapist and relive the ordeal. The report found that only 14 per cent of cases reached the trial stage, with the highest proportion of cases dropping out of the criminal justice system at an early stage. The study tracked 3,500 rape cases through the courts and interviewed 228 rape victims. It found that police and the CPS overestimated the number of false allegations which feed into a "culture of scepticism" about rape complaints. In some cases police and the CPS put emphasis only on the discrediting features of allegations. The study said that there remained a belief among some people working in the criminal justice system that many complaints were false, with victims blamed for risk-taking. --- UseNet To RIME Gateway {at} 2/25/05 9:33:15 AM ---* Origin: MoonDog BBS, Brooklyn,NY, 718 692-2498, 1:278/230 (1:278/230) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 278/230 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
