Indeed.  It was pretty awful.  I just got a Mellow release Il Giro Strano _La 
Divina Commedia_, of which 3 of the 5 songs appear to have been mastered from 
badly damaged source tapes.  It's really ghastly.  It even offends ME.
Too bad, because the music is pretty good.
