Actually a favored class in College was 'the Bible as literature'.  It was
*not* a religion class but more of a historical sort of thing crossed with
philosphy.  If the book of Ruth crossed with an compared to Pliny and Tacitus
is on topic, or Ruth with Plato, then I'm in like a flash!

I do not however want a debate that ends up with 'god won't like that' or
'you are going to hell'.  Not my thing at all.
