Remember that picture of the lights on earth showing where civilization
was, it was one of those space pictures of the day or something?
Look at that, notice all the dark spots on land, now consider that besides
those dark areas you have 3/4 of the planet covered by water. We really
don't inhabit much of this planet at all.
Now remember that the atmosphere goes miles high.
Tell me again how much affect you think mankind has on the atmosphere. Do
you think if we really worked at it we could make some insignificant change
like say countering the Santa Anna winds for a day? I mean if we are so
significant, lets see us do something that is as powerful as an
insignificant tiny little weather event like a localized thunderstorm, make
it change course even...
Ok how about we just make as much difference as one volcanic eruption, just
a tiny little pimple on the face of the planet can make a .2 degree
temperature drop in a year. Surely we are capable of matching that tiny
little event?
