Interesting...

According to Drake schematics, ALL R-4A's had the 0B2, and 
the first thousand R-4B's (S/n 7000 - 7999) had one.  S/N 
8000 and up did not!

I have seen B's with the hole for the tube cut in the 
chassis and a copper-plated plate screwed over it.

Are you SURE it's in there?!?!?  And is it WIRED?!?!?  :-)

Wouldn't be the first time I've seen something out of line 
with the published schematics, but never THAT far out of sync.

Also, are you sure that's a "C" on the end?  Really should 
be an (R)ed, (G)reen or (B)lue, although one guy told me he 
had (Y)ellow!  What color stripe is on the crystal? 
(C)hartreuse?  :-)

By the way, there were at least four schematics for the "A", 
and at least three for the "B".
