I have heard of them but I am not a software developer so those kind of
things slip out of my view rather quickly, if they even get noticed at all. ;)

I think I do have a QWK and BW spec that came from there, if I can find it.

I've heard of that one but never used it. I think QWK is good to support and
BW as well since netmail and echomail can be used with it and those are
standard formats. OPX may be good too but I don't know if it would be used or
if it would fill any need.

I have seen it floated and I just floated it myself a short time ago. I think
the idea needs users behind it and the developer needs time to do the work
that might be a considerable.
