Which version of NetScape are you planning to use? The 16-bit
v2.02 works fine. Just make sure virtual tcp/ip support for
DOS/Windows is enabled with the following lines in your OS/2
CONFIG.SYS:
RUN=f:\tcpip\bin\cntrl.exe
RUN=f:\tcpip\bin\vdosctl.exe
DEVICE=f:\tcpip\bin\vdostcp.vdd
DEVICE=f:\tcpip\bin\vdostcp.sys
Your AUTOEXEC.BAT for the NetScape session needs to have your
\tcpip\dos\bin directory early in the PATH statement so the OS/2
WINSOCK.DLL gets loaded instead of the Windows one and the "ETC"
environment variable has to point to your \tcpip\dos\etc
directory, which must contain a copy of your RESOLV file.
I've heard some of the Win32s versions of NetScape can be gotten
to work but I haven't tried myself yet.
