Well my Mom was not at all artistic but she seemed to have spawned four
kids who were fools for the stuff....so in the winter she used to have
my Dad go to the local architect's office and get huge rolls of
blueprints...they gave them away for free when they were going to
discard them.....and he'd hang them from a pipe in the basement of the
house and she;d just turn us loose with an assortment of supplies and
we'd trace yourselves on the huge sheets, make murals, collages and
stuff.  The only rule of the house was that we could only use one sheet
per day.  The best ones Mom saved and hung up in the screened porch for
all our visitors to see.
