Don't confuse SharePoint and SharePoint Designer. The former is the =
server and from what I have seen in tech articles is very well received. =
The latter is a client product and is new to the 2007 Microsoft Office =
System.

The marketing term 'SharePoint' got a bad rap from the first =
iteration of
SharePoint designer. It was OK in concept, but a real pain when you =
went
to deploy and maintain.
On paper, SharePoint 2007 addresses some of these problems, but I
haven't heard from anyone who has used the new version yet.
