AWL> Monochrome Normal/Highlight/Inverse... AWL> Must come close... Nope, there are, particularly with a CGA card and a mono monitor, some screen intensity settings which dont allow that to be visible. Thats a particular problem with those systems that use a highlight to make the menu key letter stand out in a menu word. Thats not a major problem with an install prog, but is a real problem with trying to come up with a single default color scheme which will work in the app itself with any install. There is a lot to be said for a very minimal install like for Telix DOS has which atleast allows you to select the minimum stuff like that screen detail. The other problem with your very minimal 'color' scheme as a default is that plenty of dummys will just look at it on their SVGA etc, say 'yuk' and not even realise that its easily changeable. Atleast with the minimal install Telix has, you can offer a few obvious alts. --- PQWK202* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 690/718 711/809 934 @PATH: 711/934 |
