AV> JK> It is very easy to tell that you haven't the faintest clue as to
AV> JK> what A.A. or N.A. are all about. And with the attitude you present
AV> JK> here, you are not likely to do so.
AV>No. It is you who apparently does not understand psychology,
AV>notwithstanding you claims to the contrary. But then, you are
AV>the one who criticizes everyone, including the apparent majority of
AV>doctors and nurses, who don't agree with you.
Just which theory of psychology don't I understand? There's a book on
the shelf which outlines around a dozen or more cockamanie theories
which have been developed over the years, somewhat analogous to trying
to figure out how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.
They became outdated when another book I own, "The Broken Brain" was
published in 1984 by Harper & Row. In it, Nancy Andereasen, M.D.,
Ph.D., outlines the PHYSICAL tests that can be done for "mental
illness". This puts the mind and body back together again, something
badly needed since Sigmund Freud took them apart under the influence of
cocaine.
Another book I have had stolen from me once and replaced is "Psychic
Discoveries Behind the Iron Curtain" by Sheila Ostrander and Lynn
Schroeder. They documented the Russian experiments in parapsychology
done in the 1970's! We have just begun to catch up to what the Soviet
Bloc was doing and what our Native American healers are still doing
in this area.
We have a long way to go, according to posts such as yours, posts that
can understand the benefit of some herbal remedies here and there, and
completely negate those that have preserved this sort of knowledge down
through the ages along with the knowledge of the human brain and nervous
system that our Western medicine has long since lost.
