TL> RULES SUBMISSIONS - IMPORTANT CHANGE
TL> To insure proper submission of rules files, the rules text
TL> MUST be incorporated in the body of the message to the Echolist
TL> Robot, rather than as a file attachment. The message should be
 TL> addressed to:
 TL> echolist 1:1/21
 TL> subject: MOD RUL
TL> The text of the message MUST begin with:
 TL> TAG the_tag_name
 TL> PASSword the_echo_tag_password
TL> RULEText Rules for area the_tag_name
TL> RULEText more of the rule text,
TL> each line starts with keyword RULEText

TL> NOTE: The ECHOMOD application produces the MOD RUL
TL> messages in the proper format.

shouldn't this be fixed to reflect reality? RULEText is /not/ necessary to
be at the beginning of each line...

i also have a question about submitting rules files in this manner... how
are we to tell the name of the rules file? i've noticed a dramatic change
to the name of some of the rules files i send... it seems that the robot is
wanting to name the file the same as the echo tag and that is incorrect in
many instances... it also cuts the names off in the postings when they are
longer than the 8.3 field...

thanks!
