This is probably one of the most common questions asked here. Over the years
I don't know how many times this same question is asked by a new bird owner
worried about the new joy in their life .
Even hand fed tame birds that are all over you in the store will often act
just like this when you get them home. It's a big change. They soon get
comfortable and start acting normal. If you are not sure about the water
bottle offer some in a dish now and then for a few minutes. If the bird is
thirsty it will go to the water right away.
