1 in 2 women has sex toy

HALF of all women own a sex toy, a sensational new survey has shown.

And they are set to outsell washing machines, with 2.4 million girly gadgets
being bought a year.

Ann Summers has just announced a 10 per cent increase in sex toy sales.

And a survey by Durex shows more than half of couples use an aid to spice up
their love life.

They questioned 10,000 couples and found the North East is the naughtiest
region with 55 per cent owning a toy.

Couples in Yorkshire are the next keenest with 51 per cent. The survey also
showed the most popular toy is a vibrator with 53 per cent using one.

Jacqueline Gold of Ann Summers said: "The further North you go the naughtier
people get. Our Manchester shop has been our top-seller for years."
