Sure, no prob, though I don't speak for every woman.

I was nice to a gent at the post office last week, who'd lost his PO box key
and didn't have enough to get a replacement. I put down 3 bucks for him
(they're now $5.40 to replace!) and he got his key. It's always fun to do
something nice for a stranger - the look on his face was precious.
