TL> Or...you could go to the echolist website and download the
 TL> docs (g).

BTDT... however, they do not agree with my memory of how i started those
that i did start... but its neither here nor there... i just want to get
INTERNET fixed and get the bot(s) to use the 8.3 filenames for the
rulesfiles...

ml>> yup... have another message headed your way... the main concern of

ml>> echo (INTERNET) and i've never been able to alter it and the others

TL> Next time you send in updates, send a cc to me...I KNOW the
TL> arrowbridge entry looks funny...the rules file shows up in
 TL> the listing as arrowbride.ru

i've sent in one DEL and three UPDs for all 14 echos... unless i do another
manual run of echomod to update them, there will be an automatic update
sent on the 28th, IIRC... that one will be from the existing process that's
been in place since before you started doing the elist...

TL> Guess it's me....but I'd restrict the name of the rules file
 TL> to 8 by 3.

that's what i've been trying to do!!! i never sent in any rulesfiles with
names not in 8.3 format... this mess started when i had to switch to email
submissions and embedding the rulesfile text in the MOD RUL messages... i
don't know where the filename is taken from on /your/ side of the
processing... it appears that whatever process is extracting the rulesfiles
is looking somewhere for the filename but its not looking in the proper
place or i just don't know where to tell it what the filename is supposed
to be... even echomod sends the embedded rulesfiles with no 8.3 filename
specified anywhere in the message...
