MC> The new FileManager is good; and with the source included,

I already had my file manager hooked in. If I wanted something
from TSE itself in this area, such as file deletion or attribute
changing, I'd like it hooked into the EditFile/etc picklists,
not separate. If I'm going separate, might as well use DF.
MC> Persistent History is absolutely wonderful.
Annoying clutter, I found it, so turned it off.
MC> Windows can be scrolled simultaneously.
We already had that, from various macros people had made. This
one is actually a step back, as you must lock windows together,
then unlock them to get separate movement. I want both
available at the same time, and have it: the twelve basic
movement commands are available to me on a current-window basis
as , , , etc, and on an all-window
basis as , , and so on.

I am not so self-abusive as to do anything under Windows that I
can possibly avoid doing.
MC> Search & Find capabilities have been significantly improved with

Yes, and this allowed me to dump mCompressView(), since I don't
need the ability it was retained for, viewing proc lists.

Tried it a couple of times. Complex beyond understanding.
Maybe someday it will be useful to me, but I doubt it.
MC> Instant online access to any word contained in the help system.
Making the help searchable was a noted improvement. It's the
biggest plus of online help over manuals. At least now I'm no
longer penalized for remembering seeing something in the help,
but not recalling what keyword it was tucked away under.

I don't need *glitzier* docs. I just want *complete* docs, and
true docs, not just "look in the online Help (excepting, of
course, for the parts that didn't make it into that)." Also,
real examples for commands would be appreciated. The places
where you get "say you have a macro foo that does blah-blah" are
frequently annoying. It's like trying to learn a foreign
language by only reading *about* the language, and not seeing it
actually used. For my money (this is one of the more expensive
program I use; only 4DOS bleeds me a much), even if I was
limited to a Supplement, it might've been a real one, not just
an outline of one.
