My brothers an Attorney who occasionally has divorce cases. It is
usually pretty simple, the Judge or Judges in this case like one party
more than the other and it is usually pretty arbitrary as to why.

The claim that the Children would be better cared for by the mother in
this case was fallacious because it does not taken into account the
mothers schedule or that she is a single mother and therefore how would
she be any more availble than the father.

Either the judges did not like the lower court judge or they did not
like the father.
