Yeah, I believe because they have to be intergrated into your system so deeply,
like scanning and making changes to your registry, etc.. I could see another AV
picking one up as a virus... It's the chicken or egg question.. malware, etc
did'nt use to seem as bad until there came a big market for antivirus
software.. now there are always new variations and new malware coming out and
right behind it, if not before anyone even knows of it the AV industry already
has the solution for it, of course for a price.. 

I do know there are people out there who do malicious things either for the fun
of it, or for profit (miners and randsomeware) but the av business is a big
money business.. you don't see that much av stuff floating arund for linux, not
do you see much malware, and it is OPEN SOURCE. so it makes one think..

and for someone to buy AV products for an android device is just stupid.
