subject: speedtest-cli from a Pi 2

I'm using a Pi 2B as a lightweight home office server. The lshw
output says size: 100Mbit/s and capacity: 100Mbit/s for the ethernet
connection, & it's plugged into the router, which is plugged into the
cable modem (both cables are fairly short).

Are there other limitations on how fast the Pi can receive data that
would explain lower than expected results from speedtest-cli?
