Just re-checked my setup....exactly the same as yours..
Only this in my line log:

Last line when I trie to telnet out


Never knew when you started elebbs/w32 from the eleserv, Elebbs initialises
a modem?.
But it seems that's is the reason I can't telnet out and ele disconnect
rightaway...strange...
I got a basic modem init with this :
AT|
AT&D0|
ATH0
ATA|

Already tried different &D settings, the result is the same.
Strange....

I tested this here using EleBBS/W32 binaries dated June 26, 2006.

My menu option uses Menu type 101, which looks like this:
|'T'| Telnet     | /SERVER=pegasus.bbs.us

When I telnet into my BBS and run this menu option, I immediatly
connect to the remote BBS, so it's working fine here.
