Hum, is this like the question: if one woman can have a baby in 9 months can
9 women have a baby in 1 month?

My problem with zebra finches is usually too get them to STOP breading.
They are the rabbits (1 large batch a month) of the bird world.

Zebra finches tend to bond in pairs, but the males don't seem to be
prevented from having a little on the side. A larger issue is the male
helps raise the babies. A male trying to support two nests might lead to
underfed, unhealthy babies. You might get more babies but babies with poor
health.

Two males won't help things go faster with one female. It might even slow
it down if the males get in fights over the one female.

Stick with pairs. Use good quality feed (with extra calcium, vitamins, and
protein if they are nesting). Go for quality not quantity.

Curtis
