One good thing with Chares, is that we won't have to hear about a separation
referendum until his tenure is over. If he can do something about bringing
back the cosmopolitan feel that Montreal used to have, and bring back the
business and foreign invenstment the separatists drove out, he might be in
for a while. The guy who puts people back to work tends to garner approval
