I know that one real well! Mom is a frugal sort but not 'chinchy'. She
raised me with 'best bang for the buck' and that sometimes you pay more for a
good reason of quality.

Charlotte learned grocery shopping skills from age 7 on. She could feed
herself a nutritionally sound diet on just a little over 100$ a month with
today's market. Add 50 and she's got 'snackies'. I probably should work on
the laundry angle though. Grin, Don does that and I'm not sure what color
our washing machine and dryer are. I think I used the dryer once, about 10
years ago....

Meantime, I just had fun! Took Cash-pup for a walk and a few bucks since
it's yardsale season. Yup, found a lady selling off clothes and got me 2
silky shirts, 2 sweaters, and a nice lined jacket. The jacket and the 2
shirts still had the sales tags on them. One of the sweaters still has the
dry cleaning tags. Also found a cute hot pink neck muffler Charlotte wanted
and a jeans Jacket (short sleeve) that's cute on her. Oh, and a perfume
bottle that's mostly full and smells alot like Este Lauder's. She wanted 6$
but i gave her 10.

Sounded right! Nice stuff for work.
