Trouble is, I learned a long time ago that you never believe anything
anybody else tells you unless it can be independently substantiated, nor
should you believe everything you see or hear in the papers or on TV.

And while I'm off on that kick, on Brisbane's Channel 7 news last week
there were at least FOUR separate occasions where the newsreader made
specific claims, then not 30 seconds later, the person being interviewed
said something totally different, contradicting the story completely. What
the fuck's the matter with these bastards? Don't they think that anybody
who watches their news has an attention span of more than 20 seconds, or
what?

PE> I think there's a message in there for all of us.

BG> Yeah, said message being that you probably need new specs.

PE> Or you completely stuffed up as usual. Time will tell.

Oi, a bit less of the "as usual", if you don't mind! Anyway, if
it makes you happy, I have since decided to run 3.03 exclusively for the
time being.

PE> Approximately 24 hours since you call twice per day.

And about 4 times yesterday, to test Bink. I'll have to stop doing that
too, as this is at peak rates, not the 18-22 cents I'm used to.
