Remember seeing a Pom do just that inside the shark nets in 
Townsville ... he was enjoying a long-distance thrash when the 
people on shore sighted a pair of sharks which had got through the 
netting somehow.  The crowds started waving and shouting ... and 
the energetic one saw them and waved back happily.

Until he also caught sight of the fins.

Time for the Jesus Christ act, he decided...

Stood up and ran to shore.

Our are supplicats ... continually bearing in smaller furry things 
to lay as gifts in hope of edible reward;  always left where 
sleepy humans cannot fail to tread...
