African results could be skewed by cultural differences not directly
associated with genital mutillation.  For example, Islamic men may be less
prone toward promiscuity.

It seems to me that the circumcised penis would be more prone to skin tears
and other injuries during intercourse, and therefore more likely to be a
potential HIV transmission hazard.
