subject: Armed, Dangerous & Tasty? :-)

Ya know? We chatted about the kitchen table devices & such that the
American IQ can conceive. We slung the sling about-a-bit. But, I just got
hold of some Cajun Chips & Mexican HOT Salsa and scarfed a little and set my
mouth & throat aflame! Thank heavens for the milk.
But, with all this uncomfortable standard stuff, what would happen if
there were hypergolic actions between certain foods? Like, I have had those
thiings on my pore little tummy that felt as if it had exploded. But then, I
can't take much Pizza with processed tomatoes on it. Like the sauces, purees
& stuff. Oh, I can eat raw tomatoes, but once they are cooked, I can't
andle
them.
Then, of course, there was the lady in the midwest that had an open
flame or candle on a table in the corner of her house, in the kitch. She
commenced siftin flour for something, the flame touched the fine powder and
she blew up herself, the kitchen and the corner of the house!
Grain elevators occasionally have the same occurrence. But, I wonder
if anyone knows of the `don't do' things about the house.
On PBS again a while back, they had a very informative segment on the
dangers of Granulated Pool Acid when combined with Cola and with common Brake
fluid. One generates toxic fumes, the other bursts into flame. It seems as
if you watch PBS long enough, you'll learn enough to destroy the block. Some
guy claimed to have a recipe for Napalm and even Plastic explosive! Right
there on PBS!
I'm sure you'll remember Alfred Nobel. (Peace Prize!) There's a
video out called simply "Kaboom!" about his work in creating dynamite,
nitro-glycerin, high and low explosives, etc. One thing about it, use a
little explosive and it sure will get peaceful for a while.
