And for those who use rpm-style package managers it is even more simple.

$ rpmbuild -ta golded+.tar.gz

That is all.

For husky it is more lengthy because there are several packages here and
one has to install some of them before building the others even if you
build on the machine different from the target computer. So the sequence
looks like that:

$ rpmbuild -ta huskylib.tar.gz
# yum install huskylib-1.9.20150127C-1.x86_64.rpm
$ rpmbuild -ta smapi.tar.gz
# yum install smapi-2.5.20140708C-1.x86_64.rpm
$ rpmbuild -ta fidoconf.tar.gz
# yum install fidoconf-1.9.20150319C-1.x86_64.rpm
fidoconf-devel-1.9.20150319C-1.x86_64.rpm
$ rpmbuild -ta areafix.tar.gz
# yum install areafix-1.9.20150514C-1.x86_64.rpm
$ rpmbuild -ta hpt.tar.gz
$ rpmbuild -ta htick.tar.gz
$ rpmbuild -ta hptkill.tar.gz
$ rpmbuild -ta hptsqfix.tar.gz
$ rpmbuild -ta sqpack.tar.gz
